“The introduction of ARTSVP’s Point of Sales terminals revolutionised our on site ticketing process, streamlining transactions and enhancing attendee experience.“
— Sarah Hustava, VIP Relations Director of Dallas Art Fair.
Dallas Art Fair, held in the heart of downtown arts district, is a dynamic showcase presenting modern and contemporary artworks from national and international galleries, where curated exhibitions and innovative programming foster engaging conversations in the growing arts community. Recognised locally and globally, it highlights trends in the art market while introducing new talent to collectors.
During the latest edition of the Dallas Art Fair, we proudly collaborated with their team to launch our point of sales terminals. Held from April 4 to 7, 2024, in the downtown arts district, the fair showcased an impressive array of modern and contemporary artworks from top national and international galleries.
Front of house operations were simplified by allowing the team to sell tickets through ARTSVP and take payments by card. When a payment was made, the ticket was issued via email instantly to the visitors’ phone, and they could then add it to their Apple wallet.
Another key benefit for the Dallas Art Fair team was not having to handle sales and bookings using 2 separate systems. Additionally, reconciling payments from a single platform significantly reduces accounting administration and provides improved analytics of visitor numbers.
To sum up: benefits of using ARTSVP with POS
- Handle sales and bookings using a single system
- On payment ARTSVP issues tickets automatically to the buyers email
- Sell tickets online and in person
- Find both paid and free bookings in the same view/platform
- Easily reconcile accounts - all ticket sales running through the same system.
- ARTSVP analytics showing all tickets sales (online and in person)
The Point of Sales terminals for on site ticket sales enabled the fair to maximise revenue for both online and in person transactions.
On site ticketing can generate as much as 40% of ticket sales as many fairs experince people making on the spot decisions to visit.
