Next week London becomes the centre of the art world as Frieze Week returns. Collectors, curators, art lovers from around the globe will fill the city, moving between exhibitions, dinners, and late-night events.
With so many events across the capital, it can be hard to know where to start, or which events are truly worth your time.
To help you out, we’ve co-curated an ultimate guide with our friends at Flo London to help you navigate next week events and point out some of the top ones.
Here are some of the must-attend events… if you manage to secure a spot on the guest list!
 

Monday, 13 October

  • David Zwirner Party — The gallery often hosts a high-profile launch or opening party, especially in Frieze season.
  • Tate Openings — Expect late openings or previews across Tate Modern / Tate Britain to kickstart the week.
  • ICA Film Festival Launch — The Institute of Contemporary Arts, a hub for film, talks and parties, will launch its film festival.
  • Room 13 — Word is this will be the week’s first major party? One to watch.
  • Minor Attractions (pre-ICA event) — A VIP mingle ahead of the ICA launch that draws the crowd in early.

Tuesday, 14 October

  • Ladbroke Hall — A more private, perhaps off-grid location for intimate gatherings.

Wednesday, 15 October

  • Frieze Preview Day — The official fair preview, attendance by invitation or VIP pass.
  • Group Art & Design Show at Portland Place — an insiders’ art fair extension.
  • “Dreaming Together” Launch at The Groucho Club — Starting 7pm in one of Groucho’s iconic Soho bedrooms (The Nap Room). Artists involved: Larry Achiampong, Jamiu Agboke, Danny Fox, Tai Shani, Gavin Turk, Michaela Yearwood-Dan.

Thursday, 16 October

This is the “move fast” day. Multiple overlapping must-see events:
  • 1-54 VIP Day — Private activations or showings at 154 (venue / gallery / hub).
  • Sound Bath by ARTSVP at Soul Studios — A sensory, meditative event aligned with art + wellness.
  • West End Galleries Night — Late-night openings and gallery walkthroughs. Check some of the best shows in the link.
  • Frieze Collectors Dinner — One of the crown events of the week.
  • One Night After-Frieze Pass Party — For those who have access, this afterparty is the place to land once the official events wind down. RSVP Here.

Friday, 17 October

  • British Museum Gala (“Pink Ball”) — This is the social event of the season. Tickets reportedly fetch £2,000 each, and the guest list is limited (≈ 800)
  • Collectors Lunch 12pm — 1-54 London 2025. An intimate lunch organised by 1-54 and Christie’s

Saturday, 18 October

  • Frieze London & Frieze Masters – Open to the public, these fairs showcase contemporary and historical art. Visitor Information
  • Gilbert & George Centre – Free Highlight Tours – Explore the exhibition 'DEATH HOPE LIFE FEAR…' with a guided tour at 3pm. See more here.

Sunday, 19 October

  • Frieze Sculpture at The Regent’s Park – Enjoy a leisurely stroll through London's largest free outdoor gallery, featuring works by international artists.
  • Another outdoor sculpture trail curated by Frieze Studios at Sloane Street. Check info here.
