Fiona von Fürstenberg

Through abstract mark-making, Fiona explores themes of spirituality, space and time. For her, painting is an extension of prayer. It is the space where her “active life” meets her contemplative life. Engaging with ideas of temporal perception, she draws on the notion that time is experienced through consciousness, where even natural cycles shift depending on attention and feeling.
