At the door of a fair, a ticket is a promise: this person may come in, at this time, this many times. Fair tickets on ARTSVP define what a guest holds and how it behaves at the door — combine the ticket’s entry type, slot capacity, and ticket quantities to model access exactly.
Single entry or multiple
- Single Entry — the ticket checks in once. Use it for one preview, one day, or a timed slot.
- Multiple Entry — the ticket can be scanned again. Use it for a multi-day or re-entry pass.
The entry type belongs to the ticket, not the event, so one event can offer a single-entry day ticket alongside a multiple-entry fair pass.
Four capacity controls, one model

Use slot capacity for venue safety and ticket quantity for commercial or access tiers. A group ticket can admit several guests, so test its headcount against the slot capacity before launch.
Charging for tickets
Paid tickets need Stripe connected under Settings → Payouts. Worth knowing before prices go live: an event charges in one currency, taken from its venue; promo codes apply percentage discounts only, never fixed amounts; and a guest cancelling does not trigger an automatic Stripe refund.
Design tickets for the door
The Expert plan Expert includes one custom ticket and wallet-pass design, assigned to an event or to individual tickets. It cannot differ between tiers, so let the ticket name, entry time, and date carry the distinction your door team reads at a glance. Turn on Issue Scannable Tickets and Enable Add to Wallet if guests should carry their tickets in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
