Apple Wallet Passes

An Apple Wallet pass is the event ticket a guest adds to their iPhone: a single card with a header, an optional image band, rows of short fields, the QR code, and a back full of longer details behind the ⓘ button. The Apple Wallet tab of the designer controls every part of it, and the preview mirrors how Wallet lays the pass out, including the notch at the top.
Basics
Background colour sets the colour of the whole pass.
Text colour is yours to set on Apple Wallet, unlike Google Wallet, which chooses its own. It starts on Automatic: black or white, whichever reads against the background, following the background as you change it, so a pass always stays legible without any further thought. Switch to Custom for two pickers: Text colour for field values and Label colour for the small captions above them. A muted label over a bold value is a classic pass look. Custom colours are honoured exactly as set, so check them against your background in the preview and on a real device.
Logo text is the short line shown beside your logo at the top of the pass, such as “Art Basel VIP”. Leave it blank and nothing is shown there; the header keeps the logo alone. A blank field is never filled in with your organisation name.
Images
All images are PNG, under 5 MB. Sizes are maximums; a smaller file is fine.

Wallet displays the logo at half its pixel size, so a small file renders small on the pass. Supply the full 240 × 75 for a logo that fills the header.
Leave the icon or logo empty and the pass ships with the ARTSVP mark in its place; the preview ghosts that default so you can see what an empty slot means. An empty strip is not drawn.
Fields
Under Pass fields, each section of the pass is a list of rows with a label and a value. Values can be plain text or variables that fill in per guest, inserted with the quill beside any value.

A new design starts with the event name as a secondary field, the venue and time as auxiliary fields, and the address, booking name, email, reference and a tickets link on the back. Reorder, reword or remove any of them. A row with neither label nor value is dropped when you save, and the preview re-renders every section as you type.
The back of the pass is the place for anything longer than a phrase: entry conditions, a note on accompanying guests, a contact for the day. Wallet turns a web address on the back into a tappable link.
Tip: Keep the front to what a door team scans and a guest glances at: the event, the entry time, the venue. Everything else earns its place on the back.
