Legal and Privacy

All plans

ARTSVP’s legal pages explain the terms for using the service and how ARTSVP handles personal data, and your organisation can add its own terms for guests to accept when booking. This page points to product controls and published legal documents; it is not legal advice.

ARTSVP policies

Use the published pages above as the current source. Do not copy policy text into event descriptions, because copied wording can become outdated.

Your organisation’s guest terms

Organisation admins can add their own terms under SettingsInfoTerms of Service. When terms are present, guests are asked to accept them in the booking flow. Keep the wording current and link to any fuller policy hosted on your website.

  • Configure only the guest fields needed for the event.
  • Mailing-list membership records a guest’s opt-in; export that list from SettingsMailing List.
  • Tracking pixels require guest cookie consent and may reduce conversion. Add the Meta Pixel ID in organisation Info, then enable tracking per event.
  • Use roles and event-level access to limit which team members can see guest data.

Data transfers

CSV exports, API tokens, and webhooks move data outside ARTSVP. Store exports securely, keep tokens secret, and send webhook data only to systems your organisation has approved.

One thing these controls cannot do: determine whether your terms, consent wording, or data handling meets your legal obligations. Get independent advice for the countries and audiences you serve.
