Booking Links
All plans
Newsletters, Instagram, a partner’s mailout, a QR poster in the window — when one event is shared in several places at once, booking links tell you which place the bookings actually came from. A booking link is a shareable URL to an event’s booking page: every published event has its main link, and you can create additional named links, one per channel or audience, each tracking its own bookings.
Creating a link Pro & Expert
Open the event’s Promote page, create a new link, and set:
- Custom URL — the link’s slug (“early-bird”).
- Tags — how bookings from this link are labelled on the guest list (“vip 1”, “instagram”).
- Max Guests — cap how many guests this link can bring in.
- Guests per Booking — override how many places one booking may take.
- Booking Style — override the event’s booking style for this link: a register-interest link on an otherwise standard event, for example.
- Custom Max Usage Text — what visitors see once the link’s cap is reached.
A link’s settings override the event’s defaults for guests arriving through it, though the event’s own capacity still applies on top of any link cap. Each link has its own QR code and printable poster, downloadable from the Promote page.
Reading the results
The Promote page shows each link’s bookings and clicks; on the guest list, filter by a link’s tags to see exactly who it brought in.
Tip: Make one link per channel — newsletter, Instagram, partner — rather than sharing the main URL everywhere. Attribution then takes care of itself.
